OWL keeps communities safe, helps reduce crime and keeps people informed of what’s going on locally.
It’s a secure platform for the public and shared with the police and local authority to maximise the potential of Neighbourhood Watch, Rural Watch, Business Watch and dozens of other schemes.
OWL (Online Watch Link) sends you the latest local crime alerts and provides management tools for maintaining and expanding watches.
At the November 2022 Parish Council meeting, the East Herts Rural Police Dept reported that there had been a spate of thefts in rural areas recently, including Hunsdon:
- Vehicle thefts from Residents’ drives at night
- Central heating oil from houses and schools
- Trailer thefts and equine tack from Livery yards
