Hertfordshire County Council – Notice under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
UPDATE: Following an extension, the work outlined below is expected to take a further 21 days to complete when started on the 30 January 2023.
The prohibition imposed by this notice can remain in force for up to 21 days.
Temporary 50mph and 40mph Speed Restrictions on A414 Eastwick Road, Stanstead Abbots/Eastwick
NOTICE is hereby given that, owing to the likelihood of danger to the public whilst highway maintenance works are being undertaken, all vehicular traffic is prohibited from being driven at a speed exceeding 50mph on the following lengths of roads:-
- that length of A414 Eastwick Road, Stanstead Abbots from its junction with the A10 Amwell Link Road/B1502 Stanstead Road roundabout south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with the A414 eastbound slip road leading onto Stanstead Abbots Bridleway No.019, a distance of approximately 2224 metres.
- that length of A414 Eastwick Road, Stanstead Abbots/Eastwick from a point 673 metres north east of its junction with the A414 eastbound slip road leading to Stanstead Abbots Bridleway No.019 north eastwards, eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with the A414 Fifth Avenue roundabout, a distance of approximately 4769 metres.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicular traffic is prohibited from being driven at a speed exceeding 40mph on that length of A414 Eastwick Road, Stanstead Abbots from its junction with the A414 eastbound slip road leading to Stanstead Abbots Bridleway No.019 north eastwards for a distance of approximately 673 metres.
