Hunsdon Parish Council supports Hertfordshire County Council’s survey to find out local people’s views on introducing 20mph speed limits in the villages across Hertfordshire. This issue of speeding through Hunsdon has been raised many times at Parish Council meetings.
We encourage everyone who lives or works in Hunsdon, or has children attending school in the village, to complete HCC’s short survey. The survey is open now and runs till Sunday, November 1, 2026.
Why Your Views Matter
Lower speed limits can improve safety for road users and pedestrians. Although enforcement in rural areas could still be improved, this consultation gives local people an opportunity to have their say, whether or not they want the lower speed limits or on which roads. Their responses will help shape the County Council ’s decision on whether lower speed limits should be introduced in Hunsdon.
